Bulb-to-bulb picture?[edit]

How does a kugelrohr oven work?[edit]
I have never encountered one personally so I am unsure where the heating element of this type of tube furnace is. It's not the cage since that's just an optional protective guard, so I currently believe it is the small metal band around the end of the inner glass tube, but that seems quite small? Mostly just personal curiosity but it could be worth making a small section for this specialised type of oven, from a quick look around it seems to be used for a few other things like drying.
