Her raspberry award nomination was in 1986

I've checked out and found out that her raspberry award nomination for "Worst New Star" for Under The Cherry Moon raspberry was in 1986 for , not 1996. davidmj926 07:19, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

Picture

Is that the best Wikipedia can do? A picture from behind? You can hardly see her face.

Have to agree... and it's not like a very flattering angle either.  VodkaJazz / talk  23:39, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
There are a few good ones on Flickr; I don't have a Commons account tho. Could someone do some uploading? Adaircairell (talk) 10:27, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

Could someone PLEASE upload a pic of Kristin to show everyone how beautiful and talented this woman is? Thank you.

Talent is in the looks?76.170.88.72 (talk) 07:13, 4 August 2014 (UTC)

"Nationality"

Since an Englishwoman's (legal) nationality is necessarily "British". (As is an Englishman's, and for that matter a Scotsman or woman's) the correct term at the top of the lead is that she is British but has taken "French" nationality (in the sense of changing her legal status). Looking at nationality here in a legal (passport) sense. Further down in the lead she considers herself "more French than English" - this is fine because nationality here is treated in a much less formal sense of the word. --Soundofmusicals (talk) 07:57, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

Childhood home

The article currently states her childhood home was Trent in Dorset, but the article on Nether Compton—a village no more than a mile from Trent—makes a similar claim. Is there a reliable source that confirms which village it was? PaleCloudedWhite (talk) 23:02, 9 March 2014 (UTC)

This page states it was Nether Compton, though I'm doubtful this would be called a reliable source. PaleCloudedWhite (talk) 23:06, 9 March 2014 (UTC)

Stage name

Can anyone provide a definitive reference to whether Scott Thomas is her stage name or her proper surname? In The English Patient (film) article there is a constant changing of the name to which she is referred to from Scott Thomas to Thomas alone. SAG is closed at this time so I am unable to consult them. Thank you.76.170.88.72 (talk) 00:37, 4 August 2014 (UTC)

Cornish

As she was born in Cornwall, she should certainly not be described as 'English'. The UK Government has recognised the ethnicity of Cornish people: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/cornish-granted-minority-status-within-the-uk 'English' is not appropriate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Varnebank (talkcontribs) 20:58, 11 October 2014 (UTC)

Except Cornwall is a county of England and you have no idea whether she has "Cornish ethnicity" or considers herself Cornish at all. In fact, from reading the article it seems neither of her parents came from Cornwall and she didn't grow up there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.145.81.212 (talk) 18:23, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
