Yes, the articel needs improvement. The subject is important. I collect here some sources, for further improvement.

Birth location[edit]

A reader ticket:2018101210005251 notes that is born in 1778 which was not under British rule until 1799. The main text seems okay but the INFOBOX suggest it was British India at the time. I do not pretend to be an expert on the relevant history, but I have gone ahead and removed British India from the birthplace and left it for the death place entry. don't hesitate to correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounded plausible.--S Philbrick (Talk) 14:18, 22 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
