country[edit]

This is not true: A country called Rama never existed; the title of King of Rama became incorporated into the royal style of the Hungarian monarchs due to some kind of misunderstanding.[1] It is totaly false. Rama is land or historical region (approximately in northern Herzegovina) around similar river Rama.

Can you say Burgundy or Normandie never existed?!?

Matej Škarica

Burgundy and Normandy did exist as countries (see Kingdom of Burgundy, Duchy of Burgundy, County Palatine of Burgundy and Duchy of Normandy). The Kingdom of Rama did not. I'll replace the word country with the word state to make the sentence more clear, although the source itself uses the word country. Surtsicna (talk) 16:06, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

States?? Do not impose your ignorance as fact. Look for the Bela II. and III. (XII. century) »Bela Dei gracia Hungariae Ramaeque rex«. I suggest that you don't impose your incivility as something acceptable here because it's not acceptable, especially not when it's the first time you converse with someone. Who are you to call someone ignorant? The article cites sources for its claims and you don't. The web-page you cite does not say that Rama was a state. For some reason, Wikipedia is more inclined to trust Pál Engel, Andrew Ayton, and others than you. Surtsicna (talk) 18:29, 31 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
