Buen was not the deputy on the hood of the car[edit]
This article states that Deputy Buen was standing on the hood of the car when he shot Christan Glass. That is incorrect. Though there was a Deputy on the hood of the car, it was not Buen.
Buen was standing at the passenger side headlight area of the car on the ground when he shot and murdered Christian Glass. Body cam video of this is very clear.
Until we have a reliable secondary source on this point, I'm very reluctant to use a primary source that comes with such a warning. Mr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) 13:27, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This bodycam video - which does not include the shooting itself shows Officer Buen explaining to an investigator that he was at the passenger side headlight (not on the hood of the car) when he fired at and killed Christian Glass. There was a deputy on the hood of the car, but it was not Buen.
You can skip to the 1:50 mark to hear the exact statement.
If you think that is a reliable source, why don't you edit the page and add it as a citation? Mr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) 02:51, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Found a reliable secondary source describing the events in detail (Huffington Post); have corrected details in the article accordingly. Mr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) 16:54, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Christian was the one shouting "you can still save yourselves" not the officers[edit]
https://rmlawyers.com/glass-footage/ If you go through to the climax of the tapes you can clearly hear that Christian's voice is the one saying this and it matches with his behavior suggesting him being very spiritual and thinking him impervious. Just contributes to his mental break.
I think it needs to be amended. 2403:5806:A45C:0:105E:8E49:58:4A8E (talk) 13:30, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That videotape is a primary source, and open to interpretation by the listener. It is not appropriate to use that as a source; see: Wikipedia:Reliable sourcesMr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) 14:25, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
