Location?[edit]

For all of its detail, this article fails to mention where this inscription was originally found, ~~or provide any information about its current location. (19th century archeologists frequently "collected" such monuments to outfit the museums in their home countries.)~~ -- llywrch (talk) 06:56, 28 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Transcription and Translation[edit]

I corrected some errors in the transcription and preserved the word markers and line breaks. The line "He gave me a maid for the price of a sheep, and a man for the price of a garment." was also missing in the translation, so I substituted Gibson's whole translation because that's what I have access to. I preserved the line breaks in the translation, too, but I'm not sure the usefulness of that outweighs the decreased readability. I can't work out how to right-align the Hebrew, though -- when I tried it would end up squishing along the reference list for some reason. Quadriporticus (talk) 08:04, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
