I'll try this again. There is a photo posted as the first on the page that shows the current Kia Optima/Magentis. As a comparison, keeping the 2005 Optima as the beginning photo would be like leaving the old Pepsi logo at the beginning of Pepsi's Wikipedia page. Thank you in advance for your respect and cooperation. 24.247.138.105 (talk) 09:20, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Obvious difference: to my knowledge, whatever WikiProject covers the Pepsi article doesn't have this stated in its guidelines: "The image selected for an article's top (lead) infobox does not need to show any particular version or generation of the vehicle, such as the latest, the last, the first, the best-selling, or any other. Vehicle production date is not a factor when determining the quality of an image and its suitability to illustrate the lead infobox."
Very simple issue. Cut it out.IFCAR (talk) 11:45, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blank "fourth-generation" section[edit]

The section for the fourth-generation Optima is completely blank. Can someone sort this out and write text for it? Thanks. Blurp92 (talk) 16:16, 9 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It has been solved. Quite some time ago, actually. Thanks to whoever did that. However, I will say that I do have a gripe with it: It sounds way too much like an advertisement, with an unsettling abundance of grammar that would be more commonplace on marketing material. Not exactly befitting of an online encyclopaedia with a strict policy on writing from a neutral point of view. Blurp92 (talk) 01:27, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
