Move[edit]

This place is part of Sa'ir today, and is commonely known as Kuziba. I suggest we move the article to Kuziba, as that is the name used by ARIJ, Huldra (talk) 21:16, 1 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, if I don't hear any objections in the next week, I will move this article to Kuziba, Huldra (talk) 21:32, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Chozeba vs Chezib[edit]

Presently Chozeba redir to Chezib of Judah. User:Davidbena; should it? (asking, as you made the redir back in the day), cheers, Huldra (talk) 21:22, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Huldra. It is always good to hear from you. As I recall, "Chozeba" was the spelling used by Eusebius and Jerome for "Chezib of Judah" in their work known as Onomasticon. There may be other usages for the same spelling, which I am unaware of at present. If you should happen to know of any other usages for this name, then we will need to make a disambiguation page, and delete the redirect. My question would be is Khirbet Kuwayzibah (aka Kuziba) alternately mentioned as Chozeba? The two spellings seem to me to be completely different, and, therefore, one cannot be construed for the other. Davidbena (talk) 23:10, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
My suggestion would be to make Kuziba a redirect to Khirbet Kuwayzibah. Davidbena (talk) 00:02, 4 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
One problem here is that I cannot make head or tail out of the Chezib of Judah-article. AFAIK, that place was called Sh Ghazy on SWP map17?? That is "The warrior sheik" in Palmer, 1881, p. 327?
While this place was said to be possibly from Chozeba, by Palmer, 1881, p. 400, How do you place Eusebius and Jerome's "Chozeba" at the loction of Chezib of Judah? Huldra (talk) 20:58, 9 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
