Is this quote outdated?[edit]

At a 2014 NASA panel discussion, Hand predicted that extraterrestrial life would be found within 20 years.

Having just finished listening to him recently speak with Sean Carroll about this subject, I believe this prediction may no longer be realistic given the extreme technological challenges involved in penetrating the icy moons to get down to their putative oceans. I would like to suggest that as a result of this more recent realization, that the quote should be removed from the article as outdated. Viriditas (talk) 01:08, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
