"A local development"[edit]

seems highly dubious, given that Korea not only has the same unit by the same name but clearly derives their unit from the Chinese 步. Possibly its application to the bays between pillars is a special Japanese development... — LlywelynII 05:07, 7 June 2017 (UTC) Have edited it to remove "local development" and note similarity with Korean Unit. It would be good to get more information on the influence of Korean architecture on Japanese architecture. 240F:69:F5CC:1:C86:C5D9:4356:F3EE (talk) 21:41, 20 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

1+911[edit]

1+911 is a tad confusing, and looks like a misprint for 1911. Perhaps just/also say 2011. Jidanni (talk) 02:02, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
