possible expansion avenue[edit]

The article's currently a just-the-facts biography, with fairly old sources. Our article social learning (social pedagogy) claims that an 1844 article of Mager's coined the term "social pedagogy", which might be a useful avenue along which to research a more updated biography with focus on the influence of his ideas.
