Notability and sources[edit]

I believe the page for Karen Dionne actually does meet Wiki's Notability standards (WP:CREATIVE) for the following reasons:

1. Dionne did win an international award, please see References section: "Previous Scribe Awards Winners: The Ninth Annual Scribe Awards". International Association of Media Tie-In Writers. May 2, 2017.

2. Dionne's work has been reviewed by multiple "independent, secondary sources" such as Publishers Weekly and RT Book Review. Again, see Reference section, specifically: - "Freezing Point: Karen Dionne, Author". Publishers Weekly. August 11, 2008. - "Boiling Point: K.L. Dionne, Author". Publishers Weekly. Well, lets look at the sources currently cited.

"Previous Scribe Awards Winners: The Ninth Annual Scribe Awards". International Association of Media Tie-In Writers. May 2, 2017.
- This includes Dionne in a list of nominees (not winners) of this award. There is no additional detail. If this is a notable or significant award, this would contribute to notability. How significant is it? The award does not have a Wikipedia article at this moment.
"Spotlight on Backspace". Writer's Digest. September 4, 2009.
- This is an interview with the subject, and so is basically a non-independent source, and so contributes little to notability.
"Book Reviews by Karen Dionne". New York Journal of Books. January 27, 2012.
- This is mostly a list of her writings, which contributes little to notability. The comments in the intro contribute something, but then this is produced by her employer, which reduces its value.
