The KUGB - Karate Union of Great Britain - is a democratic body controlled by its membership and operates under an approved constitution.[1] All positions on its committees are elected at the Annual General meeting by its members. However, the top positions rarely change hands and the founder, Andy Sherry, has been elected chairman every year since 1973. Its fully audited accounts are presented annually for approval by the AGM.

-- Removed this paragraph and replaced with own. Have inserted here in case anyone needs to revert, but doesn't want to destroy any of the other changed I made. have noticed that most of the page was direct copies from www.KUGB.org - have tweaked and referenced as I felt necessary. Improvement? Ferret-Simpson 12:25, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Have also noticed that requires some sections on the different arms of the KUGB. Maybe Andy Sherry and Bob Poynton should be merged under a "Notable Instructors" heading? Others could then be merged and added as appropriate. Ferret-Simpson 12:30, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

seems very dated[edit]

"recently winning the senior male team kumite event at the 2007" - seriously? 16 years ago is "recently"? Tirailleur (talk) 16:14, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
