Sister city: Asheville[edit]

The article says Asheville, North Carolina is the sister city of Karakol, but when I clicked on the link I found Karakol isn't listed as Asheville's sister cities. One's got to be wrong but I don't know which. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.151.160.174 (talk) 18:20, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In 2003, http://www.main.nc.us/sistercities/ stated:
NOTE: In 1994, Asheville established a Sister Cities relationship with Karakol, a city of 60,000 located in the newly independent country of Kyrgyzstan, on the western border of China. Because of considerable difficulties with maintaining communications, this city was dropped as a sister city in 1999.

Sights[edit]

The Sights section needs considerable clean up, it is written more like tourist guide than an encyclopedia entry. Sources are needed in that section as well. Pmelton87 (talk) 03:19, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
