A comment[edit]

added "creator of House of Cosbys" to Biography section. He deserves credit for the work. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.48.13.17 (talk) 03:47, 25 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

His work for the Disney Plantation is certainly not his most notable. "Rick And Morty" is far more creator-driven, and is more significant, as can be seen by simply running a few searches. Bustter (talk) 05:15, 27 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2488644608/nm1551598 states that this is the official photo for Justin Roiland and should be included on his Wikipedia article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Trstephens (talkcontribs) 19:11, 1 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The current image looks to be uploaded by the man himself and is even licensed as such. Crazysim (talk) 17:03, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Missing a wikipage for Trover Saves The Universe[edit]

For some reason there is no Wiki-entry for Trover, kind of odd since it's a fully released videogame on all platforms. Can someone get on that? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:982:3678:1:79C9:EE47:963F:C72F (talk) 17:42, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Felony Domestic Violence charges[edit]

I noticed that a section of Roiland's overview referencing the well-documented fact that Roiland faces felony domestic violence charges has been removed. I believe it would be best for the overview to include a reference to these charges, as it is now a key element of both his public persona and personal life. In addition, most notable figures who have faced similar allegations have such sections in their article's overview. 2603:8000:CD03:1A3A:DDCC:CFA0:2FBB:A365 (talk) 00:32, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Typo found. "portagonists" should be "protagonists" 2604:3D09:867A:F720:8C88:26B6:D21:202 (talk) 15:38, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

In the Personal Life section, it says Roiland was charged in 2023, but that's when the news broke. He was charged in May 2020. Check the NBC source for reference. 207.181.228.36 (talk) 19:44, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

In the Personal Life section, it was recently modified to remove that he had jewish heritage due to the source not specifying as such. However, it could be updated to contain a source that corroborates his jewish heritage, the Jerusalem Post mentioned it for example. ElazarLevy (talk) 10:09, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This smells like yet another citogenesis incident. The anonymous edit adding "to Jewish parents" was made at 17 December 2022. Is there any source that was published before that date? Całkiem anonimowy (talk) 14:45, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with User:Całkiem anonimowy. It should not be added to the article without a reliable source that predates the unsourced edit to this article. Schazjmd (talk) 16:24, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Why was this addressed only recently and left like this for so long? 85.65.224.19 (talk) 03:20, 25 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

2013-2023?[edit]

I have an issue with how Rick and Morty is currently listed in the filmography. He’s always going to be credited as co-creator, as the reports about the severed ties. We don’t know how the recast is going to affect the season. But first off, Wikipedia doesn’t close off datelines until their final episode has aired, and season 6 ended before 2023, so even if his voice work for season 7 is replaced, the dateline would still be wrong. While the pacing of Rick and Morty season releases have gotten tighter, isn’t it still CRYSTAL to definitively place a 2023? 108.41.81.126 (talk) 08:06, 25 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. There is certainly no way Adult Swim will use any of his voice acting going forward, if any was even recorded before he was fired. Ditto for Solar Opposites. Cashregistry (talk) 04:19, 26 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

...and the prosecutor dropped all of the charges due to lack of any evidence, so there's not even the potential for a bunch of unrelated evidence that makes them want to distance themselves from him being introduced by the prosecution. If they're smart they'll just apologize for caving to the mass idiocy of the internet (or heading it off at the pass, I don't really care about the order of things there) without even allowing the legal system to work, and hire him back. Cases like this do enough damage in the forum of discrediting victims of real domestic abuse in the eyes of the legal system, there's no point in doing more damage to the falsely accused. I would like to fix the spelling and grammar of the sentence: "After the charges were laid, multiple people came forward with their own allegations of abuse by Roiland, including claims of predatory behavior towards minors, though as of now their unconfirmed if they are real or not." Harry Sibelius (talk) 00:00, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. I can really only see one thing wrong with this sentence in that the wrong "their" is used at the end. Otherwise you haven't said what you ware wanting to change it to. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 00:17, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

2004-2023?[edit]

Well, it’s not confirmed that roiland quit the animation industry. He has resigned from squanchy Games, and got removed from his shows. He probably might return if he’s proven innocent. I mean look at Johnny Depp sure he wasn’t allowed back at some of his studios but he is going to be a new movie soon. Besides, yes, officially said that he actually did it hopefully by his hearing will know the truth. 2600:6C42:6400:45F:FC19:14B8:6065:C683 (talk) 05:32, 3 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Johnny Depp wasn’t proven innocent 108.41.81.126 (talk) 07:57, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Reminder that Depp successfully sued Amber Heard in 2022, as Heard's allegations are proven false. BaldiBasicsFan (talk) 02:33, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Heard’s allegations were not proven false, the jury was convinced by him through their own biases. If you don’t know the broader context of the case don’t bring it up 108.41.81.126 (talk) 15:04, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
WP:WINARS. If you hate Johnny Depp, okay, but you seem to have political bias and a supporter of the infamous MeToo movement. BaldiBasicsFan (talk) 02:11, 9 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This has nothing to do with using Wikipedia as a reliable source. Your attitude is extremely inappropriate 108.41.81.126 (talk) 03:56, 9 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
How is my attitude "inappropriate" in a way? Also saying "This has nothing to do with using Wikipedia as a reliable source" shows that you’re one of those users who doesn't understand policy. This is on topic and Wikipedia is not supposed to be reliable to begin with. If you have beliefs that others may disagree, it is recommended to have community consensus provided for your evidence. I see both sides to changing the active years date. If he is convicted then his career is definitely finished. However seeing that his projects are collapsing and the likelihood of him ever being hired in the entertainment industry slim to none. Maybe if more editors agree with this then the change will be made before his trial. FictiousLibrarian (talk). 22:05, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
