Poland should be added to the list of participants. https://eurovoix.com/2018/05/04/poland-preliminary-confirmation-of-participation-in-2019/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kalenoz (talkcontribs) 17:09, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

Logo of JESC 2019

I'm not sure if the logo is real or sourced. Make the logo look like how it used to be the previous years before the 'official' logo was revealed

Hi. I made a new event logo, similar to the previous years "official" logos used to be. Feel free to use it. Vikkezi (talk) 15:08, 10 December 2018 (UTC)

Invitation to Kazakhstan

I know that Kazakhstan want to participate this year but don’t they have to be invited by the polish broadcaster to participate and the Ebu this year because it might just be a special case in 2018.Sammyham84 (talk) 03:57, 19 December 2018 (UTC)

@Sammyham84: It's the same situation as Australia and no one waits for their "special invitation" from the EBU. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 06:09, 13 January 2019 (UTC)

Kazakhstan & Armenia

Does Kazakhstan and Armenia announcing their intentions to bid to host the 2019 contest count as provisional confirmation of participation? You cannot host if you're not participating, and as they're both bidding to host then wouldn't that make it obvious they're planning on participating too? { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 00:29, 28 November 2018 (UTC)

I don't want Kazakhstan and Armenia to withdraw. 173.59.126.236 (talk) 22:44, 19 February 2019 (UTC)

Map is wrongly proportioned

The map doesn't look right for the wiki page. Thanks in advance EuroFan98 (talk) 12:58, 17 March 2019 (UTC)

Fixed, the map was a PNG rather than the standard SVG version. -- AxG /   13:44, 17 March 2019 (UTC)

Understand me

The one who edited in Sweden and Norway on the wiki, its not me, if anyone is questioning who that user was. Thank you. EuroFan98 (talk) 09:40, 3 April 2019 (UTC)

Map

Why is Russia enlightened on the map of participants? Thanks in advance. EuroFan98 (talk) 13:30, 19 May 2019 (UTC)

Countries Participating

Not done Please provide a reliable source Sammyham84 (talk) 03:14, 25 May 2019 (UTC)

Australia

Where's Tasmania Island on their map? EuroFan98 (talk) 10:44, 26 May 2019 (UTC)

@EuroFan98: It was there, it just drifted north-west a little, it's back now along with the east coast of Greenland. -- AxG /   11:06, 26 May 2019 (UTC)

Slovakia

Anyone heard that Slovakia is evaluating a debut to the Junior Eurovision this year? https://eurofestivales.blogspot.com/2019/06/posible-debut-de-eslovaquia-en.html?m=1 EuroFan98 (talk) 16:33, 7 June 2019 (UTC)

It is already added in the article Sammyham84 (talk) 04:01, 11 June 2019 (UTC)

Slovakia sadly won’t debut 2919 JescFAN32500000 (talk) 10:50, 12 July 2019 (UTC)

2019 sorry JescFAN32500000 (talk) 10:50, 12 July 2019 (UTC)

Number of participating countries

I think it's notable that the rules of the contest only allow 18 countries to participate (which was ignored last year). With Italy's confirmation, we have 19 countries, so I think we should mention this in the "participating countries" section. LexPro4 (talk) 14:16, 26 June 2019 (UTC)

But Azerbaijan withdrew and Kazakhstan wants to participate and Bulgaria might participate. Also we haven’t heard anything from Lithuania San Marino and Romania. But Lithuania is very unlikely to return after last year they said they won’t return in near future. JescFAN32500000 (talk) 07:26, 15 July 2019 (UTC)

@JescFAN32500000: I added this topic before Azerbaijan announced their withdrawal. dummelaksen (talk) 18:17, 15 July 2019 (UTC)

But Azerbaijan participation was a rumor thought JescFAN32500000 (talk) 22:29, 15 July 2019 (UTC)

Dubious source

I'm not sure if eurofestivales.blogspot.com can be considered a reliable source. I haven't found any other sources for the information on this page cited from eurofestivales, and they seem to have information from half the broadcasters in Europe that no other news outlet does. They cite their source as simply the name of the broadcaster in question, without any clickable link or specifics. LexPro4 (talk) 21:55, 8 June 2019 (UTC)

personally I agree since so far the only other country that have confirmed their non-participation on the eurofestivales.blogspot.com is Croatia which confirmed on Eurovoix but non of the other are listed Sammyham84 (talk) 14:51, 9 June 2019 (UTC)
@LexPro4: I don’t think that eurofestivales.blogspot.com is a reliable source I cannot find any sources anywhere else that mention that they will not participate including the broadcaster pages I believe they should be remove until better sources list them-Sammyham84 (talk) 02:20, 10 June 2019 (UTC)

I think Eurofestivals blog spot isn’t reliable because on eurovoix.com Sweden Iceland Estonia Belgium Switzerland United Kingdom Norway and Denmark aren’t on the non participating countries list on eurovoix.com and Esc takeover and Esc extra aren’t reliable to because they said Ukraine Confirmed In June but they did in July. JescFAN32500000 (talk) 07:34, 15 July 2019 (UTC)

Ecxtra is a reliable source because they left where they got their information but I am not sure about Eurovision takeover with Azerbaijan case also Ukraine participation was confirmed in June eurovoix was just late with Ukraine Sammyham84 (talk) 20:11, 15 July 2019 (UTC)

But Eurofestivals is just saying that Lot of countries aren’t participating while 10 countries have confirmed they will not participate JescFAN32500000 (talk) 22:31, 15 July 2019 (UTC)

Also Czech Republic hasn’t said anything about non participation yet JescFAN32500000 (talk) 22:32, 15 July 2019 (UTC)

Naming conventions vs. junioreurovision.tv

There have been several back and forth edits on this page where users including myself have changed the capitalisation of the song titles to either match their respective languages' naming conventions or to match their capitalisation on junioreurovision.tv (e.g. the Italian song is listed as La Voce Della Terra on junioreurovision.tv, but Italian song titles only capitalise the first letter, i.e. La voce della terra). A concensus must be established about which of these should be used, and I believe naming conventions should take precedence as they are far more well-established. dummelaksen (talk) 09:27, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
