  • Mel, Eric and Gordon took part in the 1956 Olympics in Melbourne
  • Eric, Gordon and Julian, the 1960 Olympics in Rome
  • Eric and Julian, the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo
  • Eric, Gordon and Julian, the 1968 Mexico Olympics.
  • Cec was the only one not to make it to the Olympics. Cec Pearce (unrelated) is also the name of a famous Australian rower (1936 Olympics and four-time national single sculls champion)

Gordon Pearce is Gordon Charles Pearce. Gordon joined the public service in WA as a junior clerk in 1951 and in 1983 had risen to Director, Cabinet Secretariat, Premier's Department. In 1987 he was appointed Chief Executive to the WA Inc. Royal Commission. He was appointed a member in the general division of the Order of Australia.

Cec Pearce is actually short for Cecil Pearce in case this needs to be changed, and btw he represented Australia several times in hockey but retired with injury before they participated in olympic hockey.Chuzza (talk) 11:10, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
