This does seem to be a valid term in Australia [1]. If the roles are the same, it could be merged into Court clerk, but it shouldn't be deleted. — sjorford (talk) 15:29, 28 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Even for Australia, the article has serious problems. A "Judge's associate" (not to be confused with an associate judge) is a lawyer who works for a judge. They do legal research, not just administrative paperwork. Since you removed the "prod", it would be appreciated if you cleaned up the problems with the article.
