How did he come to be in Ireland?[edit]

It would be interesting if someone could provide information as how he came to live in Ireland. It clearly postdates his retirement from the army in 1921 but he was living in Ireland by 1956. He was not himself Irish.Cloptonson (talk) 18:35, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
