Dispute over content in political career

This article needs to be flagged for NPOV and Biographies of Living Persons Policy violation as it looks like few editors with biased background are undertaking a careful curation possibly to malign the person concerned. The article is no where near a comprehensive coverage of the person's political career. The section looks like a presentation of cherrypicked and contested facts. Since all these are blatant violation of BLP policy, this article must be watched and edited to ensure neutrality and fairness. NPOV and BPL violation on article Jose K. Mani

Hey, I came across an article regarding a politician from Kerala, India. He has been active in politics for atleast 25 years. But his biographical article contains very little of his life and political career. Most of the information it does have seems to be cherrypicked to create a biased POV to the reader. I think it is necessary to let the readers know about this if we are not spending time actually improving article. From what I saw in the edit history and following other editor activity, there seems to a continuous effort to keep this article biased against the person. @Rotideypoc41352: What I am trying to say here is that the article does not cover the person's political career completely. Information is cherrypicked to create a biased POV to the reader thus violating the BPL and NPOV policies. Whatever information present is true on its own. But context and missing information must be made available to the reader to maintain the article's neutrality and accuracy. This is not the only article with such editorial bias in this geography. Local editors seem to have allow their biases creep in to their edits. This is a serious issue and we should address it. So I am proposing to add the flags until we can make this article better. For example, this article completely ignores the person's win in the local body elections in December 2020. Jose K Mani effect: UDF falls apart in strongholds in Central Kerala . But the article doesn't fail to mention his loss in May 2021 in the election to Legislative Assembly. Also I could see quite a few edits since January which in effect removed some content with valid citations and references. The photograph given in the page was uploaded about 6-7 years back and an update to the photo was also edited out unilaterally, it seems.
