Stratton Oakmont

I just finished reading Jordan's books, and the first sentence of this section is untrue, in that he never claims to have founded Stratton Oakmont by itself. Indeed, his account in the book follows with what the Slate article says. Further, I see nothing in the Slate article which shows Jordan claiming anything in that regard. The only thing that would make sense of that first sentence is if someone was taking the narrative of the movie as being Mr. Belfort's claim. In any case, since the article reference doesn't make that distinction between the movie narrative and the facts on this item, I'm inclined to edit that sentence to remove the first part of it.HubcapD (talk) 00:42, 20 October 2015 (UTC)
