Removal of Davies' body location[edit]

Hello, Comitialbulb561! Is there a reason the information about the discovery and location of Davies' body was removed? I checked the reference (#5) and realized it's quite large, but the details can be verified under the section titled "Suspect." Thanks! TrueCrimeData (talk) 05:47, 28 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, TrueCrimeData, thanks for expanding the page. This source says the John Davies was killed in 'Edgewood Park.' The Edgewood Park mentioned in the article appears to be Edgewood County Park in San Mateo. I assume that's where Davies' body was found. I hope this helps. That location is called 'Edgewood Park & Natural Preserve' by San Mateo County and 'Edgewood County Park' by Wiki, and typically shortened to Edgewood Park, but all variations refer to the location in Redwood City, San Mateo County, CA. This source also refers to it by Edgewood County Park. I'll leave it to you to keep the paragraph as is, or add to it as you see fit, but thank you for letting me know. :) TrueCrimeData (talk) 18:41, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I think Edgewood Park had its name changed to include the natural preserve status some time ago, but to everyone around here, it's known as Edgewood Park--the only Edgewood Park. It's technically unincorporated county land, but it has a Redwood City Zip Code. The exact location where John's body was left is off-trail and therefore off limits nowadays, but it was kind of Wild West back then, where people would take motorcycles and 4WDs. I grew up right in the middle of Dunkle's stomping grounds and was the same age as the kids he was killing at the time. I'm vey familiar with virtually every location and some of the people of significance on The Peninsula with regard to that creep. ~~ 142.147.89.236 (talk) 06:25, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
