Untitled[edit]

Nevermind, I was thinking of, "The Saint". How silly of me. "The Bishop" is also the (deceased) mentor of "Slippery" Jim DiGriz, The Stainless Steel Rat, by Harry Harrison. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Stainless_Steel_Rat)

"The companies the letters were sent to had no way of manipulating stock prices, and the deadlines passed with no action from the firms "The Bishop" contacted." Is this statement really true? Huge investment firms can easily change the price of stocks, particularily if they are small caps (which a price of 6.66 would indicate) simply by buying up a lot of the stock in question.
