his wife's date of death[edit]

She has two obituaries in the Gentleman's Magazine - one putting her death in Bath in 1811 (https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=mdp.39015027527392&view=1up&seq=756) and one in Paris in 1845 (https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=hvd.hw29e3&view=1up&seq=701).

The Complete Peerage (https://archive.org/details/completepeerageo01coka/page/98/mode/2up?view=theater) cites her death as 184*6* but also cites the 1811 obituary. thepeerage.com goes with 1811 (http://thepeerage.com/p10987.htm#c109868.2) following a proposed correction to the Complete Peerage (http://www.medievalgenealogy.org.uk/cp/p_aldborough.shtml#p99) that I think has missed the second obituary.

I've left the sentence currently at the end of this article ("His wife died in 1845") in place, with a citation to the second Gentleman's Magazine obituary, but it might be better left out due to the conflicting sources?
