Question[edit]

Anyone know if this John Fraser and John Fraser (academic) are the same guy?HornColumbia (talk) 23:21, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently they now are the same person, but of course John Fraser is a disambiguation page.--DThomsen8 (talk) 09:47, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
According to this link http://www.libraries.psu.edu/psul/speccolls/psua/pshistory/presidents/fraser.html they are the same. I added the KU info to this page, but we now have John Fraser (academician) and John Fraser (academic). I'm not sure which form is the most widely accepted.HornColumbia talk 03:12, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

John Fraser (academician)John Fraser (academic)—Same person—see above. 'Academician' is incorrect usage—see that article and Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Biography/Science and academia#John Fraser. No info in current version or history of John Fraser (academic) that is not in this page. --Qwfp (talk) 10:06, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support At least in the US, "academic" is more widely used, and this is a US academic. HornColumbia talk 13:40, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
