There are multiple reasons why the University of North Florida Student Union article should remain. First off, college student union articles are prevalent on Wikipedia and the evidence of this can be viewed at the "Category:Student activity centers in the United States" page. Specifically, this is UNF's first student union, and thus it qualifies to be an article of significance because it demonstrates a crucial step in the transformation of this growing university. There are articles concerning three of UNF's athletic facilities, so it should not be deemed that the student union article be deleted because this article will continue to transform and provide a view into another aspect of the university's campus. -The 222

The athletic facilities, I assume, have wide coverage in reliable sources rather than two in-uni references and a local paper - if not I'll be happy to tag them too. Student activity centres with articles on Wikipedia are there (or should be there) if they pass our inclusion guidelines - simply being of the same type as something already included is not a reason to have an article kept. I have included two more outside references for the notability requirement. I want to point out that this article's sources is comparable to that of the J. Wayne Reitz Union at the University of Florida. -The222 —Preceding unsigned comment added by The222 (talkcontribs) 12:41, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
