 It is, simply, Reeves trying to make her and the song relevant beyond purpose.  As a brother of a Vietnam Casualty, the reference by Reeves is insulting and "Politically Correct."  Too many Liberals jump on the bandwagon about Vietnam as it enables them to sound holy and thoughtful. 

Likewise with "Someday We'll Be Together". Neither HDH or Bristol had any idea about Vietnam or writing either song to invoke a shaded protest about The Vietnam War!— Preceding unsigned comment added by Spencer-The Unknown (talkcontribs) 16:15, 23 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
