According to FreeBMD, the birth of three James Ledgard's were registered in England and Wales from January→March 1918 to October→December 1933, i.e. a birth coninciding with a 1947—58 playing career, they are; James Ledgard (mother's maiden name Crowther) birth registered October→Decenber 1919 in Dewsbury district, James A. Ledgard (mother's maiden name Saxton) birth registered July→September 1922 in Wakefield district, and James Ledgard (mother's maiden name Heffernan) birth registered April→June 1933 in Bradford district, are any of these Jimmy Ledgard?
