New to this[edit]

OK, I'm still somewhat new at the Wiki thing, but I am trying to make this as good of a page as possible. (since Nube is hardly ever seen on the web) The page seems confusing at first, but I'm trying to figure out how to clean it up and how to perfectly set up the page. Sadly, I don't have a scanner or anything to assist in the visual aspect, so I mostly will be adding some information here and there based on the manga (I have all 31 volumes) and such. If anyone has any feedback on what to change or clean up, tell me here and I'll make the needed adjustments. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by StrangerAtaru (talkcontribs) .

POV, confusing, wikify[edit]

Most of this article is written in a tone of bias toward the show (meaning the tone is of a fan of the show, rather than a neutral observer). It's also a little confusing to those unfamiliar with the show. And, outside of the first paragraph and a few other scattered links, there are no other wikilinks anywhere in the article. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 17:14, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Yeah...I'm trying to remain unbiased...but its really difficult considering I'm probably the only person writing this. I know this is a crappy excuse, but if I had someone who can assist me on bias matters, I think we can work together to adjust this. StrangerAtaru 20:30, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it's biased. I understand the need for adherence to a certain style and content format but the neutrality doesn't look problematic to me. A lot of what is positive about is written as "fan response" which is true. I removed the neutrality tag, it's not like this is a George W. Bush article where everything needs to be agonized over. If someone wants to point out examples of how a neutral POV is aggregiously violated, I'd like to see it. By the way, kudos to whoever made the page, I was looking for Nube content and this really did the trick. Great work. 09:26, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

  • I actually need to finish this page since there's so much more I need to add (for starters, I need a bit more for the "Influences and Homages" section, and finish up the character sections and maybe add a bit more for the anime and such) My hope was that someone else would help me and I would touch it up here or there, but sadly that hasn't happened. One of these days, though, I need to get back to this. -StrangerAtaru 11:02, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • I realize I'm kind of late to the party, but I agree with Nihonjoe somewhat: these pages are fundamentally sound, but written with a definite bias (not that I fault you for it, remaining objective towards something you love is exceedingly difficult) and burdened with unnecessary information. I'm not a fantastic writer, and I don't know nearly so much about this series as you do, but I would like to help. I've remodeled the first section as an example ("be bold", as they say), keeping as much of the original as I could; please let me know what you think. Tetrominon 01:06, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • Yeah, thanks for doing that. I guess I get overly-long considering that I really wanted to introduce the characters. One thing about this series, though, is although its not really a massive story it is very character driven and everyone does change one way or the other from beginning to end. -StrangerAtaru 01:19, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikified as part of the Wikification wikiproject! Added a few more wikilinks. JubalHarshaw 14:48, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest dropping all the excessively used ! in all related articles. It is very unencyclopedic. MythSearchertalk 07:07, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Parody of this found.[edit]

I've recentlly found a parody of this manga in bobobo-bobo-bobo. Should we put this in the article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.200.115.164 (talk) 23:54, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Nube isn't really that well known so I really can't say yes or no. But I know of two Nube parodies in Bo-bobo. (one in Vol. 11 with Torpedo Girl, another in Shinsetsu Vol. 1 when Bo-bobo uses the Oni no Te on Gaoh) -StrangerAtaru 00:03, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Name of the article[edit]

The series has never been licensed for an English language release, so shouldn't the name of the article be changed to "Jigoku Sensei Nūbē"?
