Hugo Friedman[edit]

This historic home was donated to the City of Tuscaloosa by Hugo Friedman, who wanted to preserve it in his family name as a Library. Hugo lived just up the street in The Battle Friedman Home which is where his family lived since the 1870's. The City changed the library location as the town grew, but also changed the Friedman Library Building name back to the original owner's name. It would be nice to have the information regarding this gift to the City of Tuscaloosa, on the HOME and in the historical description. Note: Moved here by Altairisfar after added to the bottom of article page by Kalnta.

If you can direct me to an online or book source with page numbers, I would be glad to add it. Altairisfar 17:17, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
