Famous students – Stanisław Wojciechowski[edit]

Is there a reliable source on Stanisław Wojcieciechowski having attended the school?

His memoirs start by him declaring having graduated the Adam Asnyk gymnasium in Kalisz. He then gives a detailed description of his school experience and life in Kalisz, and then his move to Warsaw (S. Wojciechowski. Moje Wspomnienia. Warszawa: Muzeum Historii Polski, 2017, vol. 1, p. 45–47). Moreover, neither his autobiography, nor his biographies (including the introduction by J. Łazor in ibid., p. 7–44, and books by M.M. Drozdowski and M. Groń-Drozdowska [S. Wojciechowski, Wspomnienia, orędzia, artykuły. Warszawa: Bellona 1995] and Z. Pawluczuk [Konspirator i Prezydent. Rzecz o Stanisławie Wojciechowskim. Lublin: Globus, 1993]) mention the Gymnasium or indeed the town. According to these sources, he was born in Kalisz, where his father worked in the local jail.
