in the first para: if he is retired, how can the following be true: "Today Landsman is a Seargent in the Baltimore County Police Department working out of a precinct in Pikesville, Maryland."

To answer the original question, Jay Landsman Sr. retired from the Baltimore City Police Department to join the Baltimore County Police Department -- Pemilligan (talk) 22:27, 4 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

He's noted to be "retired" in the article with no citation, but here-https://www.reddit.com/r/baltimore/comments/eq51d8/baltimore_county_police_honored_the_retirement_of/ - a tweet from the Baltimore County Police Department is referenced which is now unavailable; also a tweet from Homicide: Life on the Street creator David Simon- https://twitter.com/aodespair/status/1218529727683727361- references this, in January 2020, along with one retweeted by Simon. Are there any other sources confirming this?
