Himachal pradesh jaswals find their origin where , any idea anybody.

All Jaswals have same origin. Due to their small number, there is no differentiation in Jaswals as all share same history. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sudarshan.jaswal (talkcontribs) 12:17, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There have been a few attempts of vandalism on this page. Please know that I have spent a lot of time researching old British books from the archives to upload all the information on this article. Please contribute constructively by adding more facts about the Jaswal Rajputs by making additions in standardized English. comment added by vik238 —Preceding undated comment added 05:56, 5 August 2009 (UTC).[reply]

To Ricky j234: STOP vandalizing the page - now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vik238 (talkcontribs) 08:59, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

November 2019 - Region[edit]

@Arsi786: The source [1] clearly mentions that the surname Jaswal is found among Muslims and Sikh Jats of Indian Punjab. As for viewing, I can see it but we can fix the link. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 07:38, 9 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This Wikipedia page is not accurate. Jaswal is the last name of Hindus and Christians in India. See source: https://pulitzercenter.org/people/srishti-jaswal

Srishti Jaswal is a Hindu journalist in India. 2601:248:601:1DC0:0:0:0:C218 (talk) 01:54, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It is not clear what changes you want to be made. It should be of the format "Change X to Y", with support of proper reference. Secondly, your source doesn't mention anything about Hindus and Christians. It is just a profile. In the article, the second sentence says the surname is used by Rajputs also, so it is likely used by Rajputs of various faiths, though not explicitly stated. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 10:00, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 22:34, 26 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading[edit]

The last name Jaswal is not tied to any particular religion(s). This wikipedia page is wrong. Nishtha Jaswal is a hindu. Tjaswal88 (talk) 22:00, 26 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@75.150.194.5: Do not remove sourced content, sources, infoboxes and other things. If you want something appended in the article, discuss and gain WP:CONSENSUS first. Also bring a working link in support of that, so that we can verify. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 08:24, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
