i know jaslene personally and she was raised in humboldt park..northwest side of chicago, not bolingbrook.!! so please change that.

Jaslene's height[edit]

I have removed everything regarding Jaslene's height. If there isn't a source for it, it should not be included in the article. It's ridiculous that every day someone changes it from 5'7'' to 5'8'' and then back again. If someone finds a source, please put it back in. Otherwise I think it should stay out. Cover of Vanidades[edit]

I don't have a problem adding info about upcoming photoshoots and covers if we can find a reliable source for information that is likely to be challenged but claiming that she will also appear on the cover of Vanidades and sourcing it from YouTube and LiveJournal is against WP:BLP#Reliable sources. I have removed it but it keeps getting reinserted with those 2 references. If someone can find a reliable source to back up the claim of the upcoming cover, that would be great. Otherwise, I would suggest to remove the mention of the appearance on the cover until it gets published which should be very easy to reference. SWik78 (talk) 14:24, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How do you measure or qualify as "full" latina?[edit]

The whole idea of being "full" latina is really subjective, & potentially racist. We don't know if Jaslene has purely Native ancestors, she could have African & European ancestors. It is highly unlikely she is not mixed. I think her being called full or pure Latina should be removed in order to be respectful of ALL latinos; native, afro, euro & all mixtures.Yoyodre I'm not lazy, I just lack motivation. Top Model section seriously lacking[edit]

All thats written under the Top Model section of her article is the tiniest little paragraph (2 sentences) about how she tried out for Cycle 7 and didn't make it and then the quote from after she won Cycle 8. It doesn't mention anything about Cycle 8...not even that she won. You could mention things like how she was perceived by the other girls in the house/the judges/the fans, challenge wins, the fact she was never in the bottom two, etc. Since the show is how she gained her fame and how most people would be likely to recognize her, this section is important. Well, I really don't know that much (I only saw a few episodes of that cycle)...just the basic statistics, which I added just to give the section some substance.
