University Reform[edit]

It would be useful to know more about Lorimer's role in the reform of the Scottish Universities, seeing that he wrote the first draft of the Universities (Scotland) Act 1858 which set up their tripartite structure of Senate, Court and General Council which secured the role of graduates in their governance.
