Red Dawn[edit]

I am extremely aqmazed to discover the title of the mission. It is ppure coincidence but in 1944, the North Shore regiment, led by a Chaplain named Rev. James (I think?) Hickey , was one of the primary members of the Canadian armies to land in Normandy. (See North Shore Regiment in this web site) Ironically, Father Hickey, who would later teach religion (and my mother), wrote and published a book about his experiences which was entiitled "Red Dawn". Like the younger Mr. Hickey of Boston, he also was of Irish Catholic ancestry and came from a small community known as Jacquet River, n.B., located in the northern part of the province. (Please note it is now called Belledune due to amalgamation) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.167.20.237 (talk) 07:19, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
