Take care, some sources have conflated the two James Ewings[edit]

Despite the note about there being two James Ewings previously placed on this stub, some information (like FRS) had been attributed to the wrong one. I have included a lot more family detail which should help and put precise birth and death dates. However please be aware that some sources like Hansard have conflated the two Ewings. One Ewing is described well by the ONDB, the other by a History of Parliament biography, even though both were MPs. DrThneed (talk) 10:10, 7 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
