I have edited the article to remove POV descriptions like "valuable and original" and "recognized as one of the world's leading..." If those descriptions are accurate AND verifiable, they have to be adequately sourced to be included. Mangojuice 13:54, 3 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Today, 7 Dec 2022, I was very happy to find a Wiki bio of James Crotty; as I was reading the London Review of Books article on his recent book "Keynes Against Capitalism" and thought that this James Crotty may be the same professor I knew at SUNY Buffalo whilst I got my BA, MA, PHD there !964-73. He was there awarded as the best teacher, as rated by students, and was known as a Marxist. SUNYAB being strictly Neoclassical refused him tenure, I believe, and so he went on to U Mass Amherst as I recall. In any event, bios of such persons on Wiki are an extremely important resource for persons such as myself who are looking up people from fifty years ago. At SUNYAB Crotty was an important counterpoint and thought policeman to temper the "party line" of the neo-classical group which fed into the neoliberalism that has been so damaging to the USA economy and society.
