Link to fan blog

This site should be included in Corden's external link section:

James Corden Fan Site

It appears to serve as an authoritative catalog of Corden interviews, work, appearances, etc.

Since no "official" page like this exists for Corden, this entry could benefit from including this link. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.129.181.151 (talk) 02:27, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

I don't think James and Sheridan are dating anymore, at the time of the Lily Allen show where he stated it was complicated. That was more of an ad lib line to make the audience laugh at the fact that him and Lily were flirting. But unless there is no official proof that they are still dating, I think it should be removed or at least stated that they no longer date. Anyone agree? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.30.153.141 (talk) 15:53, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

Not so sure - rumor lately has been they're back together. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.162.234.178 (talk) 21:47, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

LGBT?

Is James Corden a homosexual, I read that, somewhere. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lithiumdog1 (talkcontribs) 12:51, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

The section about his girlfriend suggests otherwise but he could be bisexual or the article could be tagged because he appeared in some work or production that has some LGBT notability. -- Horkana (talk) 16:51, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

DOB needs a check

Although I have no problem with the source cited, IMDb gives a DOB of June 17, 1978. Should be double-checked for accuracy 68.146.80.110 (talk) 01:46, 25 September 2011 (UTC)

Thanks, both were wrong. Corrected now per BFI and the General Records Office. I have submitted a correction to IMDB. Per his memoir, his birthday is 22 August 1978. Softlavender (talk) 11:47, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

Orphaned references in James Corden

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of James Corden's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Change line: On 8 September 2014, Corden was chosen to succeed Craig Ferguson as the host of the The Late Late Show on CBS after Ferguson retired in December 2014.[2] to read: On 8 September 2014, Corden was chosen to succeed Craig Ferguson as the host of the The Late Late Show on CBS after Ferguson retired from hosting the show in December 2014.[2]

Craig Ferguson was explicit on many occasions (for example, http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/tv/2014/12/19/craig-ferguson-ends-decade-run-on-cbs-late-late-show-with-final-taping/20629233/) that he was not retiring from working in the business, only from hosting The Late Late Show. The link to the Craig Owens wikipedia entry from the Doctor Who entry in TV filmography leads to the incorrect individual. Instead of going to the disambiguation page that mentions it being a character name from Doctor Who, it leads to an American musician. This should probably just be removed. Singing

Added a note to the article Set the Fire to the Third Bar about Corden singing as a guest vocalist when they performed at the Royal Albert Hall. The Sun also mentions karaoke at a video game launch with Take That. It is not really significant enough to add yet but if he has performs in a musical then it might be worth adding it further notes about other singing he has done. -- Horkana (talk) 16:51, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

NPOV

Like many similar luvvie articles, this is basically a PR CV. JC is far from universally popular in the UK and the article doesn't reflect this at all. There's also next to nothing on his life apart from his 'achievements'. --Ef80 (talk) 23:06, 21 July 2016 (UTC)

"JC is far from universally popular in the UK"

If true, this would not surprise me. My experience of British sensibilities points to a rejection of purveyors, such as James Corden and Stephen Colbert, of what passes for humor in the US. ---Dagme (talk) 15:52, 16 May 2017 (UTC)

It is certainly true, though I don't have WP:RS which would allow the info to be added to the article. His US work isn't shown on mainstream TV in the UK. People just seem to find him irritating and unlikable, and the fact that Americans seem to love him and pay him so much money makes the irritation worse. There may be an element of tall poppy syndrome involved. --Ef80 (talk) 14:07, 5 February 2018 (UTC)

Suggested edit re: Doctor Who

In the section on his appearances on Doctor Who, it's worth noting that in "Closing Time" his character Craig is actually referred to directly by the Doctor as being a companion, which is a big enough deal in that franchise that as you can see there's a Wikipedia article on the topic. Citation can be the episode itself. 136.159.160.5 (talk) 19:53, 16 January 2019 (UTC)

Is James Jewish?

Is James Corden Jewish? I ask this because he helped give over $1 Million Pounds (Equivalent of $2 Million American dollars) to the Looking After Each Other FED which is a Jewish orginization. So I was just wondering. Is he Jewish? (120.149.115.110 (talk) 13:13, 12 July 2013 (UTC))
