There is in my view a problem with one of the external links in this article. The Benjamin Balint review of The Question of Zion, which is linked at the bottom of the page, contains in my opinion very serious misrepresentations of Jacqueline Rose's position. For example, he seems to be arguing that she is secretly a supporter of the state of Israel, which she isn't, and he also criticises her for comparing Zionism with Nazism ("So ridiculous, meanwhile, are Rose's comparisons of Zionism and Nazism ..."), whereas according to an explicit correction published by the newspaper that printed one of the other interviews, "she rejects the analogy between the Nazi extermination of the Jews and Zionism". Rose's most recent book The Last Resistance is, among other things, an in some ways sympathetic study of Zionism in literature. So should anything be done about a link to an article which is a misrepresentation of the book being reviewed? It is not WP policy to take part in debates, the nature of this debate being Does-Jacqueline-Rose-hate-Zionism, so I am going to amend the link to say "Negative review of...", which seems to make sense given the alternately scathing and condescendsing tone of Balint's review. (It's interesting how all the reviews and interviews linked to seem to be critical of Rose. She's damned by both sides, apparently.) Lexo (talk) 13:37, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
