Akkerman Oblast is the same entity, only renamed after four months of existence when its administrative centre was moved. —MichaelZ. 2006-10-26 18:34 Z
Agree. Voroshylovhrad Oblast was renamed into Luhansk Oblast and we just state infomation about the renaming in the text, not have an article for Voroshylovhrad O. and one for Luhansk O. —dima/s-ko/ 18:37, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Essentially, Izmail and Akkerman oblast was the same oblast, and the two articles could be merged. I created two separate articles, as there are two articles in the Ukrainian wikipedia. --MapLover 18:38, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
