As a child?[edit]

The article states: "As a child, Isabella was betrothed in 1265...". If she was born in 1252, she would have been 13 in 1265. Not a child by Medieval legal standard but a perfectly marriageable woman, given that marriageable age was 12 then. I would delete the anachronistic reference to 'childhood'176.15.77.168 (talk) 18:25, 29 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting point. We should stick to the usage in the sources, so for now, I've changed it to "the young", though if there are sources who refer to her as a child, then it would be appropriate for the Wikipedia article to say that as well. --Elonka 00:16, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
