Little Miss America at age 3[edit]

I've removed that she was age 3 when she was a finalist for Little Miss America. Ebony wrote in 1981 that it was after her 1968 debut on Maggie Flynn.[1] The edit claiming that she was 3 at the time was added unsourced in 2006. It seem likely that sources have used Wikipedia as a WP:CIRCULAR reference on this, esp. the recent obituaries. We require a source before the WP edit in 2006, if this is to be re-introduced. —Bagumba (talk) 10:56, 5 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Puerto Rican & Cuban is correct[edit]

There is no such thing as Afro Puerto Rican. This is a gross racial prejudice cast. Puerto Ricans are Puerto Rican who have African ancestry already. We are not divided by color or practice colorism. Racially categorizing Puerto Ricans or cubans etc assumes only a certain shade of Puerto Ricans, etc have African ancestry when in fact all Puerto Ricans do. Separating by shade & practicing colorism promotes & allows racism & the erasure of the African ancestry all Puerto Ricans have. Thank you. It sort of sounds cool, j/k. What do reliable sources say? --Malerooster (talk) 21:16, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sang with Mitch Miller.[edit]

She appeared with Mitch Miller and his singers and sang ‘Heart of my Heart’ at the beginning of a show. The video is on YouTube. Papachapes (talk) 22:36, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Career subsections[edit]

Would be great to have this split into subsections. The conflict with the record label is interesting but a bit hidden in this long section. Lena Key (talk) 11:49, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
