NIST Site[edit]

The NIST containing informations on ionone is: http://webbook.nist.gov/cgi/cbook.cgi?ID=C8013909&Units=SI

On that page is also a link to the 2D Mol file.

More general question: Is it possible to embed a mol-viewer or rasmol like object in the wiki-page? [see e.g. http://www.thegoodscentscompany.com/data/rw1011951.html]

Toxicity[edit]

To my knowledge, ionone is a toxic substance, having an LD50 of 2.2-4.5 g/kg. Not as deadly as many other poisons, but still pretty poisonous. [see http://www.thegoodscentscompany.com/data/rw1011951.html]

That is about as poisonous as table salt! --Itub 11:56, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jonon[edit]

The captions on all the pictures say jonon, but the name jonon wasn't mentioned anywhere on the page! I fixed it. Wjousts (talk) 02:52, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
