There was an IDEC planned for 2001, to be jointly hosted by Hadera, Israel and Hope Flowers, Palestine. At the time this was planned, travel to the region was possible, but in the event, the Intifada made the conference all but impossible. I believe the conference did go ahead, but was only attended by a very small number of Israelis and Palestinians, so was not exactly "International". Mishagale 12:18, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
