I did a bunch of websearching on "integrating spheres", so I think I have a few references to paste in within a day or so. jimswen 08:59, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to thank those who added references and pictures. Maybe we can add some simple math relating to interior paint reflectivity and open-port percentage. -- jimswen (talk) 20:41, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Those references are not reachable as of now in the end of 2011. 212.201.78.170 (talk) 15:01, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Diagram of use in measuring transmittance and reflectance[edit]

In the first part of the figure, dealing with transmittance measurement, shouldn't the bottom port simply be plugged (i.e. covered with the same material as the rest of the inside of the sphere) rather than being fitted with a reflectance standard?
