Four arrows are optical illusions[edit]

Under "Additional images" the images for

Eye movement of inferior rectus muscle, superior view
Eye movement of superior rectus muscle, superior view
Eye movement of superior oblique muscle, superior view
Eye movement of inferior oblique muscle, superior view

all have arrows that are optical illusions. Each arrow can be seen as rotating clockwise OR counterclockwise. Each of the four images is, therefore, confusing and should be revised. There are ways of showing such arrows as unambiguously rotating clockwise or unambiguously rotating counterclockwise; and such arrows should be substituted in, or other images with unambiguous arrows should be substituted for, the existing four images by whoever placed the images on this page. --Wikifan2744 (talk) 23:42, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

In other than print sizes somewhat larger than Wikipedia standard, it is not clear that the arrows are passing behind the silver bars. Not everyone has 20/20 vision and we shouldn't demand that they do. Further, Wikipedia should be usable to a wide audience, not merely to cognoscenti.
