For some reason, the voice cast section of the article isn't showing up?

Title says it all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:301:77A0:90:903:48B1:8122:842D (talk) 19:55, 11 November 2016 (UTC)

The Incredibles 2Incredibles 2Per Disney's release slate showed at CinemaCon 2017, the film is simply titled "Incredibles 2" Babar Suhail (talk) 10:44, 29 March 2017 (UTC)

  • Oppose: premature. One picture of a logo at CinemaCon 2017 is not sufficient evidence that the definite article 'The' has been dropped from the title, we don't know that this will be the final logo as the film is not due for release until 2018 meaning that they have between 8 and 20 months to change the branding. Numerous written sources (as opposed to a photograph) use the format "The Incredibles 2" such as here, here, and here. The original film is entitled "The Incredibles" and I see no reason why these should be made inconsistent so early. Ebonelm (talk) 11:45, 1 April 2017 (UTC)
  • Oppose: same reasons as listed by Ebonelm. We cannot assume the title of the film based on one image versus a multitude of other sources. – Nick Mitchell 98 talk 00:40, 4 April 2017 (UTC)

title change

can we change the title to Incredibles 2? Crazybob2014 (talk) 12:54, 22 August 2017 (UTC)

If there were a good reason to then I'm sure it would happen. However, if you look above you will see just such a request was rejected for good reasons, and also your post immediately above links to a story which refers to "The Incredibles 2", another good reason not to. Do you not think you should give a reason for your request? Captainllama (talk) 23:48, 23 August 2017 (UTC)

The Incredibles 2Incredibles 2 – per IMDb and other websites with this film, it is just called "Incredibles 2". - 2A00:23C0:4386:3001:DD1B:17B0:DA48:462E (talk) 13:03, 30 September 2017 (UTC)

  • Oppose IMDB is not a reliable source, and reviewing sources, most of what I would say are reliable are using "The Incredibles 2", though there are some that just use "Incredibles 2". We need better confirmation which probably won't come until next year. --MASEM (t) 13:20, 30 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Oppose IMDB is not even in the ballpark of being a reliable source, Hollywood Reporter and so on are using the current title. Leave alone till release. In ictu oculi (talk) 15:54, 30 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Oppose per the above. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 16:59, 30 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Oppose at this time per WP:COMMONNAME. We have one press release from Disney/Pixar using Incredibles 2, and it is possible this could be the actual title of the film upon release, in which case we should use it, per WP:ABOUTSELF and MOS:TITLES despite the inconsistency with the original film. But we don't know yet; WP:NOT#CRYSTAL.  — SMcCandlish ¢ >ʌⱷ҅ʌ<  18:55, 1 October 2017 (UTC)

Change Title to Correct Error

The title of the movie is Incredibles 2 NOT The Incredibles 2. How do I know this? I am in regular contact with folks who work on this film and we have had many discussions about how everyone outside of Pixar is using the article "The" in the title when that is just flat out wrong. You can oppose this change if you like, but you will be wrong. Note the quote below from director Brad Bird when speaking about the movie at D23 (even though the reporter prefaced his comments incorrectly with the title using the article "The"):

(from https://ohmy.disney.com/news/2017/07/14/incredibles-2-concept-art-d23-expo/) Bird also revealed details about The Incredibles 2, which puts the Parr family into an expanded universe that includes new allies and a brand-new villain. Bird said: “Incredibles 2 is really a family film, it’s just that the family happens to have super powers. They may have super speed or super strength, but they experience the same problems as any family.”

I think the director knows the title of his film. Also, see this image, which appears on IMDB and was taken at D23. The title of the film, as announced by Disney at its own event, is clearly Incredibles 2. No "The." http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0342430/mediaviewer/rm67972864

I'm sorry that I don't have any other evidence to support this change. But it should be made. And it will eventually be made, so might as well get it right now. BTW. Could someone with the power to do so, PLEASE change the title of the wikipedia page to Incredibles 2? Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.5.83.179 (talk) 22:48, 11 November 2017 (UTC)

We are waiting until closer to release to see how it will be named, we can't go off word-of-mouth. IMDB is not usable, and anything marketing right now is easily liable to change. If in the few months before its release it is clear that it's just "Incredibles 2" we'll change it then. --MASEM (t) 23:39, 11 November 2017 (UTC)

The cast lead of Craig T. Nelson and Holly Hunter's positions need to be changed again, because brad bird himself confirmed himself when he began production, that the film would focus on Holly Hunter's character instead of Craig T. Nelson's character. If someone can edit that part in the cast list if that;'s ok, putting Holly Hunter as the lead cast instead of Craig T. Nelson. 174.192.35.194 (talk) 23:12, 13 June 2018 (UTC)

In the Summary section, there's a sentence with a possible grammatical error.

Meanwhile, Helen confronts the Screenslaver during her mission – a mysterious villain who hijacks screens in order to project hypnotic images that can brainwash ordinary civilians.

The text after the dash obviously refers to the Screenslaver but literally, this says it's about either Helen Parr or Helen's mission. I think the sentence works just fine without the words "during her mission" but if this information is deemed necessary, it should be surrounded by a pair of commas and put after the word "Helen" at the beginning of the sentence. 2602:306:BC31:4AA0:480B:1D12:4102:2962 (talk) 23:49, 15 June 2018 (UTC)

Done, changed wording of the section--QueerFilmNerd (talk) 22:04, 18 June 2018 (UTC)

Confused with tag

I've added the tag because Incredible 2 was redirected to HTC Incredible S. I've cross posted the tag on both articles because of this. Plus, on the page, it says the phone is also known as Incredible 2. --Tyw7  (🗣️ Talk to me • ✍️ Contributions) 07:14, 21 June 2018 (UTC)

It wasn't clear why it was confusing in the original hatnote. I put back a modified one that points to the redirect of the similar name. Geraldo Perez (talk) 15:41, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
I wasn't aware that that phone was alternately called "Incredible 2", knowing that I agree with the hatnote addition. I was worried that it was being singled out above many many other topics that have "Incredible" as part of their name. --Masem (t) 16:31, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
Ha ha. No problem. --Tyw7  (🗣️ Talk to me • ✍️ Contributions) 17:02, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
@Tyw7: Just a note about hatnotes. The purpose of these is exclusively to communicate to a reader that they got to the wrong article by mistake and point them to the correct article. All the hatnote needs is sufficient information for them to understand they are at the wrong article and get them to the article that they are actually looking for. Short but sufficient is desired, no extraneous info and only one link. This is similar to rules for entries in disambiguation pages and basically serves the same purpose. Geraldo Perez (talk) 03:00, 23 June 2018 (UTC)

Incorrect information in 'Plot'

This section incorrectly states that 'a battle ensues between the Supers, threatening to crash the ship into New Urbem' whilst in the film it is clearly established that the ship is on course to crash into Municiberg; New Urbem is an unrelated city that appears earlier in the film. DylanOke (talk) 08:57, 26 June 2018 (UTC)

Name typo

Mr. Incredible's car should be called the Incredimobile, not the Incredible as it currently is listed. Jameshenryhay (talk) 23:18, 29 June 2018 (UTC)Jameshenryhay ~~Jun 29, 2018

It's named Incredibile in the movie. Not a typo.Crboyer (talk) 00:21, 30 June 2018 (UTC)

Seizure wording

The inset box reads: "The Screenslaver's hypnosis-inducing screens have been criticized by disability advocates for triggering epileptic seizures." I don't see any documentation that the scenes have actually triggered a seizure. This should be softened to say something like "potentially triggering". 192.91.171.34 (talk) 14:19, 11 July 2018 (UTC)

I reworded it a bit. Geraldo Perez (talk) 16:04, 11 July 2018 (UTC)

Quote at end of Plot section

One of my favorite things about this article that sadly probably can't stay is this quote:

"Outside the theater, the Parrs spot a deadly high speed pursuit between police and armed gunmen."

The italicized portion of this quote is a direct quotation from the first film:

"We interrupt for an important bulletin: A deadly high-speed pursuit between police and armed gunmen is underway travelling northbound on San Pablo Avenue."

I imagine that the author who directly quoted the text did so to highlight the way that the two movies are bookended - however, it is directly quoting the film. Should the wording be changed, or should the quote simply be cited? I love the way that it highlights this connection, but I'm not sure that it can be preserved under Wikipedia's guidelines. --StewartIM, July 12, 2018 — Preceding unsigned comment added by StewartIM (talkcontribs) 05:16, 12 July 2018 (UTC)

Semi-protected edit request on 29 August 2018

On this page, there are many omissions to the composer credits in the section Incredibles 2: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.

Album composers per the liner notes state, "Michael Giacchino / Additional Music by Mick Giacchino", and should be thus credited.

Several tracks require special attention to detail:

27. Here Comes Elastigirl – Elastigirl's Theme Music & Lyrics by Michael Giacchino

28. Chill or Be Chilled – Frozone's Theme Music by Michael Giacchino / Lyrics by Brad Bird

29. Pow! Pow! Pow! – Mr. Incredible's Theme Music & Lyrics by Michael Giacchino

On track 30, "Devtchno!" is misspelled. It should read, "Devtechno!".[1]

Even Windows Media Player did not have the album information as of August 28.

Thank you for your kind attention.
