Have you read the article[edit]

@Onel5969 you said not to make this personal but I really think it is. I knew you would review this article, and I went out of my way to misspell obvious words to see if you actually read the article or just judge them based on some bais. Funny enough you did not even see the mistake at first line of the article!

You have more than half a million edits, but I doubt these mean anything. I hope there is a process that can put you in check and hold you accountable as I do not think your work is done with the best intention to this community. I will remove your tag and I will make sure this get noticed as I have my doubts and you have confirmed them.

PS: I will remove the intentional spelling mistakes. FuzzyMagma (talk) 16:38, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If the article does not pass notability, there is no reason for me to take a closer look. Again, you are making this personal. I review hundreds of articles, and you are not the most problematic editor, but you do take up an inordinate amount of time by your ceaseless complaining. This is now the 2nd personal attack you have made against me. Again, and for the last time, I suggest you desist making any more. Onel5969 TT me 16:43, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Onel5969 Then you should not review 100 articles, it is not a quota, and tagging should be based on what you read, not what you 'feel'! I think if you did not read the 1st line of the article, you based your opinion on a feeling. You should be held responsible for your action. You are the one making these edits and tags, and it should not be OK for you to hide behind policies.
I think you should take a moment to reflect and see how to - as a person - judge articles by their merit and not 'feelings', or please bring another editor to judge on this.
Please stop threatening me. FuzzyMagma (talk) 16:53, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sources and notability[edit]

The sourcing for the article needs to be improved. Please identify WP:THREE external news sources independent of the subject.

IMDb is not a reliable source and should not be used as a reference. Blogspots are not reliable unless the blog author is notable. Please minimize use of those. There is too much reliance on primary sources for the biography. This needs to be rewritten. The subject has only worked on one film so this will likely redirect to that film. Please show that his other work is notable. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 17:07, 3 November 2022 (UTC) updated 19:11, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@AngusWOOF Good points. They are few interviews with Mursal (done by notable news outlets, at least at that part of the world) that I can summarise and incorporate into the article. However, you are right, Mursal has a one remarkable movie, but it has a huge impact than I might be able bring out but that will still be about the movie. Need to think about this.
@Munfarid1 I wonder if you can help FuzzyMagma (talk) 18:36, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I did not see the comparison between the film Fifty Piasters and The Counterfeit Coin in the underlying source, but perhaps I missed it. Where did the comparison come from? Mursal's film sounds much more like "Sudan Currency," an 18-minute 16 mm film produced by the Sudan Film Unit in 1958-1959 (see the chapter on cinema by Tuttle and Chol Duot in Ordinary Sudan).

The document you have referenced is not free to access, but feel free to amend the article FuzzyMagma (talk) 22:46, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
