DL post-nominal letters[edit]

I am not familiar with this person's biography, so I am unwilling to alter the article. But I have a feeling that, where the text speaks of him being a DL, it may be referring to a Deputy Lieutenant (maybe in Bedfordshire) rather than "Doctor of Letters".
